How do you calculate Rarity?

Rarity score presented on NFT Tools is a simple version of rarity formula developed by rarity.tools and described in detail in this post.

[Rarity Score for a Trait Value] = 1 / ([Number of Items with that Trait Value] / [Total Number of Items in Collection])
The total Rarity Score for an item in a collection is the sum of the Rarity Score of all of its trait values.
Then items are ordered by the score, from rarest (Rarity rank 1). Lower Rarity rank is better.

There are many ways to calculate rarity. Please use it only as a guide. Do not base your decision to buy an NFT entirely on the rarity presented here!

How often are prices updated?

Offered price and last price for each item are queried from OpenSea API in regular intervals, usually every 6h but that differs among collections. That means prices displayed here might be out of sync with OpenSea. Use the OpenSea link next to each item to easily check availability.
Having prices queried once for all items enables instant filtering and sorting.

How can I support NFT Tools?

I work on NFT Tools in my free time. If you like it, then consider donating to the development fund. I accept ETH, ERC20 or NFTs on mainnet or Polygon/Matic. You can find the address in the footer.
All OpenSea links use my referral code. By buying from the referral link you also support this project.
